My little Drugstore FOTD

Well, there have been a few FOTD's on MUA using only d/s items.

I hope you enjoy my challenge. I did and found the e/s too shimmery. I have lots of mattes but thought that would be too boring. LOL

Lip Products...

Okay well I don't have any updated stash pics, but I do have numbers...and they're kinda staggering. I can't even count how many balms I have. I have a ridiculous number of them. Especially since people keep giving them to me lol. I just got a huuuuge shipment of soft lips for reviewing. Good times.

Btw I didn't count these; I have a spreadsheet lol.

Lipsticks - 160

Lip Color Pencils (not lip liners, but like gloss sticks etc.) - 16

It's probably not 100% accurate, but unfortunately it's pretty close. =X The vast majority of my lipstuffs are MAC. They're my fave. I do collect the lipsticks, especially special packaging ones. Some of my prized HTF lipsticks are Strawberry Blonde, Real Doll, Martooni, and Too Fab (DressCamp).

My Lipgloss stash

Here is my lipgloss stash. I don't wear lipstick but I do love lipgloss. I didn't take pics of my chapsticks. I got a lot of them, I stock up on them when there is a sale or I go to the States and find a Target. I give part of that stash to my husband and daughter. I keep my lipglosses in clear plastic boxes.

Here are my staples: I carry atleast two of these with me in my purse. The Lancome on the far left is my absolute fav, Hotness. The perfect "nude" pink.

I have 8 balms, 81 glosses and 1 EL lip conditioner. As I was taking them all out I tossed out 3 that are old. I forgot that I had so many that were new and some unsealed. I did swap for a lot of these, so I didn't buy all of them. Plus some are GWP.

Stash Pic Challenge ~~ LIPSTICKS & LIPGLOSSES

Hey everyone!! For all the late comers, we would still LOVE to see your stash pictures.

Here are some good reasons to post them:

1. Let's us all live thru your stash. Everyone enjoys a good stash. We admire the small ones and we are amazed by the large ones.

2. Reorganization. It allows you the ability to reorganize and clean up your existing stash. Making it easier for you to find what you want and use what you should.

3. Purging. You can see there have been a couple girls purging their stashes. Giving things away can be just as rewarding as purchasing them. Think of how you feel when you have a package coming ~ pass that feeling off to another person.

4. Finally, Realization. This is where I have a better understanding of my stash. When I can look at it and say to myself, "WOW! I have too many fndts, or highlighters, or lipsticks, or concealers."

I, myself, realized that I do have lots of fndts even tho I didnt buy the majority of them. I tried out 3 different fndts in the last month. BUT to be honest I am a Rev CS, CS Active gal. I love it!!! So I would post them here for RAOKs but its all d/s items. So up for swap they will go.

So, please do not feel embarrassed by the size of your stash... Share with us and be honest with yourself. <3

No FOTD for me today because it was another nude look with a Rev Matte in Peach Sorbet & MAC Quarry. LOL I like how fresh and doll like it looks. :D

OK back to the subject of e/s and mu LOL

A wonderful girl from MUA RAOK'd me some NYX e/s because she cant make them 'work'. I keep telling her to reach outside her comfort zone but its not working.

Anyways here are the two colors and now I cannot remember their names. :D


And this is my FOTD for today!! Now I am forcing myself to figure out how to do a 'winged liner'. I am assuming I will NEVER learn if I never try right. So last 3 days I have flicked my liner and tried to make sure it look right and even. Today was a failure on the even part. :(

I never use Top Hat or the UD e/l. Kitschmas & Lotusland is rare. So I broke out some good e/s to make use of :D

Challenge for this week! 7/20 - 7/26

This challenge should you take it, involves using stuff that you rarely use. Yes those stuff that you push to the end of your drawers cause you wonder why you got it & don't know how to make it work, etc.

I think part of helping us to stay on track is to shop our stash & also to perhaps purge some items along the way so we'll love our stash more :D & who knows, you might rediscover gems along the way!

So a proposed sequence is this, you can change it up yourself but you have to try every item once!


Mon: Foundation

Tue: Powder

Wed: Primer/& or Concealer

Thur: Eyeliner

Fri: Blush/Bronzer

Sat: Eye Shadow

Sun: Lipstick/Lip gloss


Oh! & you are welcome to use multiple rarely used items each day too! I did that with fdtn, powder, e/s & blush today! & I am rediscovering how nice the fdtn is! :D

Challenge Update!!

I think that Wednesday was primer day but I didnt even take a shower yesterday. Yeah I know YUCKY!! But it was a lazy day.

Well, today I had two choices of primers: the SK illuminating one (pictured in my fndt stash pics) and a sample of the Monistat Chaffing Gel.

SO, I am happy to say that I am really impressed with the MCG. I put it on one cheek first and waited for it set. I touched it and my skin felt smoother. WOW! So I did the rest of my face.

Fndt stayed put and didnt slide off like I was afraid. Gonna test drive it for the rest of the week and hopefully I wont break out. Wish me luck!!
