Hi Girls,
So it’s Saturday. DH is in bed, DS had his breakey and now is in front of the tv. Both of us have to go and put some clothes now and start our day in few minutes.
I am also trying to lose few kg (pounds) before my holiday in 3 and half weeks. Any tips?
We have to do some food shopping latter, and go to the park for picnic if it’s not raining. (which happens allot in Ireland).
Pay day next week, no much spare cash so we will have to come up with family activities that don’t cost much so fingers crossed the weather is nice.
Anyhow – have you looked at fall’s fashion? I had a brief look and for first time ever, I don’t feel ready for all the black clothes. I enjoyed this year summer stuff. Any trends spotted?
What are you into fashion wise – I love oversized bags, and my maxi dresses this summer. Blue and Red colours. What are you currently loving?

I think that the weight loss/ buying MU plan can be a good one. I have 20lbs to lose to help with my own health and to reduce my cholesterol.
ReplyDeleteI cut out the easy things: no soda or other sugary drinks, to snacks, no ice cream/cookies.
After trying that for a few months and feeling confident I went to control how 'much' I ate everything else. I eat til 'satisfied' not til 'full'.
It makes you think differently about food IMO.
But you probably could drop some water wait by watching your salt/sodium intact. Good Luck!!!
So now I'm going back through the posts to catch up and just found this one! :-)
ReplyDeleteSo you have about 3 weeks to drop a few lbs? That is a great stretch of time & I think you can do it relatively easily.
Do you go to a gym? Do you have exercise equipment? Or a park you can walk/run in? I would suggest start working out immediately! I find it to be great stress relief & good for your body (as well as losing weight), which helps motivate me. Maybe find a work-out partner to keep eachother on task. So I would try to work out 4-5x/week about an hour each time. If you aren't used to working out, that may sound hard but I've started working out at that rate, actually more, & I've been loving it - and that was going from no working out whatsoever.
As per food intake, depending on your weight & height, I would recommend eating AT LEAST 1200 calories a day (the minimun to keep your metabolism up - but if you are working out and being active, you need more than this). I would recommend checking out thedailyplate.com. This is a website where you track what you eat daily. It also suggests how many calories you should take in daily depending on your height, weight & weight loss goals.
I hope this helps! Good luck :-)
